If you don't have Deliverance, lay off the first save

If you're running to get the first save, and someone else is right there with you, and you don't have Deliverance, back off. No, you don't know whether that person has Deliverence and is scrambling for points, but you know you don't have it, so please step aside for that first save. Go do a gen or help heal the person who just got unhooked, otherwise the perk is wasted. The reward from Deliverance helps the ENTIRE group later when everyone needs to be doing gens or healing up, and they don't have the time or health to come save.

I think the problem is that wglf is a much more prominent and widely used perk. It seems very rare that someone who isn’t Adam is actually running it, unlike wglf which is both common for Davids but other heroes too.

Not to mention wglf is much more lenient so more people would take that over a perk that requires certain conditions and if hooked first is immediately voided.

I sometimes try and let people know i'm running it but other times i either forget or i know the person by name and they race me to deny me a safe unhook. If I see someone running for an unhook and they'll get there before me and the killer is coming i'll only go there to try and help heal or take the heat off.

Yeah, i'll totally avoid saving someone under the assumption that someone is running a Perk they didn't tell me about in the pre-game chat.

Reminds me of a recent game I had when I went through an Exit Gate when the last person was caught because I knew the Killer would camp them. They bitched at me in the end chat because they had Deliverance ready and I was somehow supposed to know that when I didn't know them and they didn't mention it in the pre-game chat.

And giving you my precious points? Never!
Jokes aside, if you have this problem tell them in the chat you have Deliverance and to let you get the first save. But considering that letting you use Deliverance means loosing 3k points (first save + your save) don't get your hopes too high.

I think ill prioritise the health of the teammate on the hook by giving them a bt or well make it over allowing another player to unhook the survivours without bt or well make it.

So, was I a bit of a cranky-pants when I initially posted? Yes. Did this just happen to me twice while soloing last night? Yes. Did each of the players have wglf? No! Ugh! Just hungry for those points.

I suppose the general point I was making is that it would be dope if my teammates would work together and not focus solely on their own points. Forgive me for having the sole goal of foiling the killer at every turn. Also, I play on PS4, where pre-game chat isn't a thing, unless SWF, and messaging all 3 of the other players is difficult.

All crankiness from me aside, I was merely suggesting that if you and another survivor get to the FIRST save at the same time (this is key. I've been Sprint Bursted past.), bear in mind the advantage of the whole team if you were to let them have the save and they were to get off the hook on their own later so you could continue working on a gen or searching for totems or healing yourself or a teammate. Don't act like being mindful of others' perks isn't a strategy in this game. Also, even as someone who runs Deliverance, I don't always run to get that first save. Sometimes I'll be 1/2 to 3/4 of the way thru a gen and not want to leave, but nobody will be running for those precious points and I'll second guess it and abandon my gen to save so they can be saved while they're still in the first stage and nobody else is around. WHERE ARE THEY? DON'T THEY KNOW THERE ARE POINTS TO GET?!?!

Two people shouldn't be running to the hook in the first place. The same could be said (and even more so) if the person had we'll make it. And if the coordination is off enough that two people are running to the hook, it's likely they're still gonna try to come even with your deliverance, wasting time. It's more important to go if the person's open and help heal if you happen to come along with someone. No one has the right to call dibs. No one is entitled to a save.

Hmmm hopefully you're not making an unsafe save just to get your deliverance at the expense of the person getting downed immediately off the hook. I've seen this so much. Whether for WGLF or Deliverance people rush to save and the killer just turned their back. I can't blame them for turning around and slicing.

So you can kobe in my face later? Nah. I got there first. MY POINTS. Run Empathy if you want to make early saves.
