A fitting Prestige 100 Reward.
I know that Prestige 100 Rewards has been a topic a few times, and truthfully, I don't know if this suggestion was ever given (and I tried looking), but while returning to DBD and discussing with friends, I came up with an idea that I, personally, would like to see.
Legacy.
Simple as that. Legacy Prestige was something granted to players in 2016, for playing the game and prestiging a character. If I remember correctly, it was only ever available on PC, as the game was only out on PC back in 2016, and a lot of people who got Legacy legitimately actually lost their Legacy due to save file corruption (or the likes).
It's no surprise that getting Prestige 100 now costs significantly more BP than it did to get Prestige 3 back in 2016, so for the people that sink that many bloodpoints into a character, they SHOULD be rewarded, and I think that Legacy is an admirable choice.
Also, I just wish I could get the Legacy Pants for Jake, I feel so incomplete without it. :(

They already said that legacy won't come back.
But I would enjoy this effect as a P100 reward, as you could still choose a cosmetic you like and are not bound to the OG ones:
Of course it needs to be invisible in the lobby if they are going to hide prestige.
It is less work than creating individual cosmetics for every character and it's already in the game. It is also fitting lore wise and is compatible with all killer powers which add an effect to the models (Nemy, Wesker, Onryo and Plague).

what @LapisInfernalis said. An effect overlay to put on every skin on the P100 character would be awesome and a great reward.
100% better than any single cosmetic.

It is also very interesting how Phasmophobia is going to add prestige rewards which are cosmetics (they don't have any monetization btw), but BHVR thinks it's FOMO....

Yeah, that was what Prestige was originally developed as. a time sink for players who don't have other games to play.
But instead some players went, "Oh so you are challenging me bhvr?"
and bHVR is like: "No no really"
and then after 3 month, players ask for a reward knowing full well there never was a reward.

The fun fact is, that there wasn't one in Phasmo either. First it was just a number getting bigger and bigger, now it is 20 prestige levels that do nothing but provide you with a new ID badge, but you have to grind everything anew (like old prestige in DBD). After P20 you also only have unlimited levels.
What I want to say is, that how similar both prestige systems are and yet the devs are handling it so differently.

No the Fun fact is the P100 Red Crystal icon is about as meaningful as an ID badge but both games also have people who are unhappy with the reward the developer picked, Dbd has the most rapid fans of the two, that is why there has been a diffrence in response.
I guess we will see if bHVR changes and go back on them not wanting to lock content behind such a large work amount.
