I beg u pls remove the alien chapter from the game
one serious question how did u guys manage to make the most iconic license of dbd into this absolute garbage let me start with xeno they are the worst killer to play as and against literally just a nemesis clone the turrets are also absolute useless and the fact that they can be permanently in crawler mode is so boring and unfun
Ellen is the most boring survivor in the game with boring perks and the alternateive unlicensed version looks weird
now to the map....######### is this i literally wanna dc everytime i load in no matter if im playing killer or surv this map is absolute garbage awful loops, digusting atmosphere and way too big
my most hated chapter used to be Project W but the Alien Chapter is by far the worst thing u guys ever released i had more fun playing twins on release day and thats saying something either u rework the entire chapter or u delete it cause this whole thing is a mess
i was and still am convinced that the chucky chapter was an apology from u guys for releasing an awful chapter like Alien

- Turrets are fine if you place they smart. You don't necessarily need them to break out crawler mode, you just need them to force the killer to look away from you as you run.
- Juking the tail is a lot of fun, and has created some really intense and fun chases for me, with some great mind games at pallets.
- Quite different from Nemesis whip, the whip creates a series of lines from Nemesis that individual get halted by terrain, but as long as one of the hitboxes gets past the terrain to the survivor it'll hit. This means it can be dragged much easier to cover a larger area. The tail has a single hitbox that stops when it hits terrain, making dragging much less effective, but it also is more precise to slot over terrain, and has nowhere near the same wind up time.
- Diving through tunnels and sensing survivor footsteps feels fast paced and exciting. Turrets cause you problems they should, and can be a pain if placed well.
- Xenomorph was quite well recieved upon release, killers were happy to have a strong killer to play, and despite a few breaking bugs, the character was balanced pretty well.
- Ellen looks reasonably like the character, it's obviously not Sigourney's likeness, but no difference in looks compared to Laurie Strode or Detective Tapp. They're close enough to know who they are. Voice lines are very good, and we even got Jonesy the cat.
- Perks are interesting, Light Footed can really make you hard to track, especially if you're trying for flashlight saves. Lucky Star is a little odd, not sure why blood trails stop for 10s, but the perk gives decent amounts of info, and certainly isn't unusable. Chemical Trap is tricky to use, but can turn a strong pallet into a God pallet killer doesn't want to break.
- Nostromo has some great easter eggs, looks amazing and fits the theme perfectly. I've found success both looping as the survivor and mind gaming as the killer. Not my favourite map to play, but it isn't god awful.
I kinda disagree on every single point here... so agree to disagree I guess? Not quite so sure what this kinda over the top rant post was in aid of tbh.

Nah, if xeno doesnt have emergency helmet and you cannot burn him thats just bad turret placement. I would advise watching some comp matches or just people who play comp survivor play against xeno to learn turret placement as they counter xeno strongly however they are useless if you are clueless.

I second that. Slog Merchant was a mistake and it is apparent that the devs are not willing to make the necessary changes. She is the only killer in DBD history to receive 2 reworks (in the span of 1/2 year no less) and she is still terrible. She cannot be redeemed.

I frankly adore the alien, and the alien map is incredibly well designed theme-wise. Jury is still out on it's balance, though. I wish it would have been entirely in the ship. :D
That being said, yeah...he's a mix of existing killers...but still, sometimes it's the THEME that makes a killer fun. I main ghost face, not because he's powerful - he's far from it - instead, it's just fun playing as Ghost Face because...well...Ghost Face! XD
