Grim Brace + DMS = Old Eruption Incapacitated Effect
I’m really curious as to why it’s not painfully obvious to the devs that this will make games absolutely horrendous once this is optimized.

I mean it only works when you hook a new survivor so really if anything it rewards spreading pressure and not tunneling. Its hard to want killers to not tunnel and spread pressure but also not like it if they get tools that would let them.

Who says you have to spread pressure. You can just as easily use the block time to proxy camp with no fear of gens getting done. And painres/pop on top and it becomes even easier to make it a 3v1 and then impossible to complete gens.

If they are using it like that that they are telling the survivor team that you camping someone with 120s of time to death, they have plenty of time to both get some gens done after that 30s and use any kinds of perks and effects like reassurance and then save near the end or have 270s worth of gens done on top of any they had before that for a 2 perk combo. We already have a perk that would function like that but better and its called deadlock no combo required.

Right and how often does that coordination happen without being in a swf? Think about how often when you solo queue does the team 3 out or better? It’s rare. People tried to defend overbrine/Eruption as well and we saw how that turned out.

I know but I don’t know why they even need to watch it. We saw what happened with old eruption. We saw what happened with overbrine.

how often does a killer without any of that proxy camping a survivor wins the game for them anyway just give like a week

Incapacitated was considerably worse in that you could do nothing. You can now at least heal, do a totem, or move to a different gen that will unblock sooner. I'm not looking forward to the new meta, but its not as bad as incapacitation was.

If you play killer and are even mediocre, I guarantee you are winning the vast majority of games with or without tunneling. I’ve played both sides for years and I can confidently say that unless you are playing a coordinated group or you mistakenly chase the wrong survivor at the start of the match, you can win 60%-80% of games fairly easily.

Yeah I said as much in another thread. In the past if someone camped you'd be told "just do gens." Now that hooks block gens with certain perk synergy, you can just proxy camp and cycle hooks. This playerbase is all about the path of least resistance, so yeah it'll happen.

What's The counter to this perk combo?
Just don't go down?
My teammates fall like flies, now I can't even do gens while that happens?
