Pallet Hitbox?

Does anybody know how do the hitbox of the character work when you vault over a pallet? Because I always get hit when I'm already on the other side of the pallet, and I have seen clips where the character is still in the middle of the pallet and doesn't get hit, so I'm wondering If I'm doing something wrong, because it's really frustrating getting hit through a pallet.
