Is slugging the new hillybilly style?
Hi, Right for context I'm not trying to offend anyone's playstyles but this is awful, so I was just been in a few matches going against the hillybilly that knew what he was doing from the start, they are just slugging at 4 gens for no apparent reason because his cooldown is so short now that he can insta-down u in a matter of a few seconds its ridiculous when there are abusing the buff for the slugging playstyle it might a just been a few bad games over today but I ended up getting fed up after 4 matches of the slugging Billy playstyle. What I think is ridculous is that people are no counter for it as survivor. I think if the devs what to keep this buff or they want to fix this issue there needs to be a surrender option. Im sorry but a billy getting a 4k slug a 4 gens when he has derectily gone to look for another slug and the get 4 people down took him 10 mins not even that is a joke.

Billy's "cooldown" is a joke for sure. Spun one out yesterday and couldn't even reach a loop in time when it was right in front of me.

Just checked some stats, and his miss cool down is 2.5 seconds for missed chainsaw base ( not overdrive or addon's) compared to the 1.5 second miss cool down of every killer's lunge attack. I think base cool down is fine, but addon's affecting it are just way to powerful currently.

It's important to note that a killer's lunge cannot one tap you. And in the case I was describing, it was overdrive which is pretty easy to get and I forgot the add-ons.

Slugging was always a good strategy on Billy, people just didnt play him cause it was hard to play, not that its a little easier, its back.
When I played during the 2017 to 2019 this was all the rage, a thick layer of Hillbillys at Rank 5 to 1 and they all did this.

Yeah I joined dbd towards the end of hillbillys prime and yeah it was awful but now its back i am happy but not so happy for one the way there using him and two the way the add ons are atm
