Can behavior please rework skull merchant?
She is competing hard right now for the “WORST killer to go up against” spot at the moment.
a halfway competent SM and the match is guaranteed to be over before it even begins.
places drones all around the map or loops that reveal your position or just take away a health slate. No reward for even disabling the drones as they pop back up after a short amount of time, meaning that she doesn’t even get inconvenienced by having to set it back up.
she can sneak around with zero terror radius along with zero noise in general.
even if you run/outplay her for a bit eventually the game will turn into a three man stalemate where she’ll slowly but surely pick everyone off, or if she’s feeling really cancerous today, she’ll slug everyone and leave them on the floor until she gets a 4K.
Sorry but in her current state, I’m not playing against this chick.

She was reworked twice and she is still the worst designed killer. It's not even a competition.
Slog Merchant is a lost cause. It's not the numbers or the effects of her power but the very concept that is flawed. She is rotten to the core and no amount of reworks is going salvage this mess. Because it's pretty clear that the devs will not go back to the drawing board with her.
I'll just continue to do what I always do against her. Treat her like a Trapper without traps. I won't last long but that's honestly great. The sooner I die against her the sooner I can play against a different killer.

I don't know how anyone could have greenlit her concept and thought those reworks would have fixed the core issue. It's always a almost identical game experience facing them. Went from Chess Merchant to M2 At Every Loop Merchant.

I honestly don’t mind going against her since I rarely see her anyways but the broken status affect is a little much in my opinion.

No just leave her as is...Jesus christ its whiny people like you who make it to where her and sadako are prioritized over any other freaking killer that desperately needs an update. Why not update myers for 2024 or freddy, give bubba overheat, etc

Skull Merchant isn't that fun to go against, though not the worst in the game imho, and maybe she does need another change.
But she shouldn't take priority, other killers need it more than she does.

SM is fine. Her power is no different really than your avarage anti-loop Killer. If you hate skully you are either hypocrit and see only her in bad light or you just hate like half the killer roaster since there are so many killers who press M2 on loops and you can die/hit easily.
She is fine as is. Deal with it.

Let me give a spoiler: like 40%+ of all Killers nowdays have press M2 for you to die on loop. SM is no different. She isn't special in this regard. And of course when someone likes a character or power or they don't mind it, it means they are brainded zombie fanatic sure sure. Jesus.

characters should not be deleted. ever. there is never an excuse that justifies it.

That is correct. I think place power at loop and die characters are bad and poor design.
What makes SM unique is her inability to do anything else except hold gens. Knight at least has some ability to snipe with Guards, but he's got the same issues really.
Skull Merchant has a MASSIVE amount of issues. She is still very good at holding multiple gens, though now she can't stall out the game infinitely.
Her power at loops is really really poorly designed. Haste, Undetectable, Free Tracking etc etc. It's clear that they had absolutely zero idea what to do with her and started slapping random status effects on her in hopes she'd be okay. She's not. She needs an entire power rework.

I'm in the boat where I think the current Skull Merchant is in a decent spot, nothing great and nothing bad in terms of base power and counterplay. I still hope for the removal of either haste or hindered in her kit, both being there is kinda too much. Maybe more noise while undetectable as well, she's pretty much the best stealth killer right now.
If anything needs reworked, it's her lore and design.

Now that 3 genning isn't really a thing anymore i'm confused why people still hate her. I think the problem with her is that she was too strong with 3 genning. But she is designed with a kit that is "build your own killer" Take a look at her addons, and you'll see that she's designed in a way (at least originally) to have addons change how she is played significantly. You could take addons that make you better in chase, some that give you aura reading, some that defend areas better, etc.
The point was her power is mostly a blank slate, and the addons change how she is played. I actually think that the "DESIGN" of that is exactly how every killer should be designed. The problem was the execution.

There are a few people who care for her. But on the other side, a thousend times more people want her to be gone for good.
So we make the few people happy and let the overwhelming majority suffer. 2024 style.

All I really want them to do is get rid of her haste. I think that's probably the biggest reason why her kill rate is so absurdly high. She has enough effortless crap already. Haste makes her hard to loop for new and intermediate players because they never really know how fast she is going. It messes with muscle memory and is something I think Behavior needs to move away from. I really noticed this when I played several dozen skull merchant games recently. It was like people were getting confused in chase because they weren't sure how fast I was going.
