Platform is on PC. I am reporting 2 bugs as I believe 1 bug leads to the other bug happening.
Bug 1:
- Account error bug.(Steam exclusive?)
- Create a BHVR account and link steam to it and merge steam into it.
- Link any other platform.(In my case XBOX.)
- Launch dead by daylight, upon reaching the signing in part of the loading screen you will be prompted with an account error
- You have no choice but to click continue.
- Upon clicking continue the game runs normally until it happens.
- At a random interval or random time you will be booted to the play as survivor/killer screen(MAIN MENU.)
- Once that happens your account will be bugged and you will randomly disconnect to the play as survivor/killer screen a bunch. Sometime instantly after loading back in, sometimes HOURS into your play session.
- This bug will hurt you most whilst playing SWF as you can't invite your friends and they can't invite you, you can't join them either and they can't join you, they will get a failed to accept invitation error or failed to connect to party error. Pretty much every error that most commonly occurs with SWF will pop up and you have to restart the game to fix it.
- If you manage to have them join and load into a lobby, you will play 1 game and have to restart DBD afterwards as the bug will occur once you load out of the match you finished playing.
You will be "disconnected from host" and main menu'd.
Bug 2:
Bug 1 will on rare occasion spark bug 2 to activate.
- You will finish a match and load out and expect to get booted to the main menu, but if it doesn't happen, this happens instead...
