DEVS - Use Lights Out to test dodging P100s
I'm surprised Killers are dodging in this mode as this is basically like a brand new game for everyone.
P100s have no perks nor starting items and yet they are still being dodged.
I'm actually surprised, but if this doesn't convince BHVR to hide Prestige, nothing will.

I don't understand how prestige still hasn't been hidden. They've said a few times that they're looking at the data. What exactly about this data takes so long to analyze?

No way killers are lobby dodging because they want even easier wins...

Easier wins are only going to raise their MMR. longterm, it will literally accomplish the opposite of what they want.

Don't worry, they'll just AFK a couple of games and they'll be all good!

Idk why anyone thinks survivor prestige = skill. Most of the time all it means is that survivor has a main and that's who they spend all of their blood points on.

The only time I lobby dodge is if there is a TTV in the lobby since most of the time they accuse me of stuff in the post game chat and I dont like that.
None of this is to say that all TTVs are bad, Ive also had a lot of good experiences, but I rather just outright avoid the potential drama.
Ill never dodge someone for their prestige, I mostly just want to avoid toxicity and confrontations.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that.

It can equal experience (time playing) and I think people conflate time played with time played well.

I am really confused about that also, they said the same thing for the feature that shows your current build in the lobby and blood explosion when you prestige. Like why wait to implement these, they are quality of life features, just give them to everyone already.

True, but they could also spend the same amount of time switching between different survivors so a P9 has the same potential for play time as a P100 if they prioritize trying to get all the perks, cosmetics, and charms for each survivor.

Also true. I think at this point, we as a community (including the devs) need to come to terms with the fact that players will see it as skill no matter how many times devs and community members assure them that it is not.
The perception is that it is skill and as the saying goes "perception is reality". P100s shouldn't have to live in the false reality that P100 = skill.
Hell, I've gotten absolutely destroyed a handful of times by brand new players.
RNG, perk selection, maps, ect all play a role in how a trial will play out.

Personally I think it mental or state of mind thing. Ppl associate p100 with time played and in turn associate that with skill. I know I find myself sometimes really nervous as killer when I have few p100s in my lobby because back in my mind I'm thinking the MMR system just pared me with a group who are way above my own skill level and because of that it leads me making mistakes I normally wouldn't and end up losing. As you see because I saw the p100s I went into the match thinking I'm going to lose and I end up losing because of that state of mind. It's a endless cycle that feeds on it self. I know prestige levels don't actually mean anything but I can't shake off that feeling whenever I see one.
This is why as a killer main I want prestige levels to be hidden so I don't psych myself out before the match even begins. When they tested out hidden levels few months ago I noticed I stop caring or stressing out so much about prestige levels and actually had fun. It's just info we really don't need going into a match at all.
Another reason why I think ppl think prestige levels equal skill is because it's the only info we have about our opponents. We don't see our or others MMR so we don't know if the system is even working. Do we have go with the only info we have on the screen and that's people's prestige levels. In other games you usually can see everyone ranks or MMR so you know what skill level opponent you going against or went against.
