Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Nintendo Switch - Hoarder Perk bugged

I equipped this perk as Myers for the first time to complete a Tome Challenge in a public lobby.

I nodded at the Survivors to let them know I was doing a Challenge and led them to two different chests.

I hit the chest to let them know to open it, then went into the next room, less than 16 meters away, on RPD.

The Survivors opened the chests after I left the rooms (I could hear the chests being unlocked with headphones) and there was absolutely no noise notification nor any notification for that matter.

At the end of the trial, while chasing everyone out the exit gates, I got an in-game notification that I completed the challenge of starting a chase within 15 seconds of a chest being opened.

By the time I got the in-game notification, minutes had passed and we had been at the exit gate, all 5 of us.

I think the challenge may be bugged, but the perk is absolutely not working.

There is no notification of any kind that a Survivor within the appropriate range is opening a chest.

My loadout was an offering to start all Survivors separated and the following perks with no add-ons:
