[PC] Bubba's chainsaw stops working for the rest of the trial

PC, Steam.
Step 1. Play as Cannibal (I was on the Lights Out mode, in Yamaoka Estate)
Step 2. Use the chainsaw normally for the majority of the trial.
Step 3. Fidget a bit by clicking the right mouse button multiple times, quickly. I did it fast enough for the hammer to go off-screen, but not fast enough for the chainsaw to appear.
Step 4. At one point I pressed the right mouse button long enough for the chainsaw to appear, and then I stopped clicking it.
Step 5. Bubba's chainsaw meter stays at 0, chainsaw doesn't work anymore for the rest of the game. Clicking the right mouse button will only play the sound that usually plays when you're out of charges.
