Remove Wiggle game, it is 100% pointless
The hooks are too close for this even be effective in any shape or form, killers has no worries when picking a survivor up, even the body block doesn't matter when they just beat up and everyone who blocked and now just wounded. Even when you use Sabatoge another hook is just around the corner. Even the full Wiggle build which nobody uses cause they know it's pointless to a competent killer.

Alright, now the killer can carry you indefinitely to anywhere on the map.

Wiggle isn't meant to be free escapes its meant to put a limit on how far the killer can carry you and give room for teamwork / perk synergy of people taking hits and sabotaging hooks leading to escapes. On its own it does nearly nothing by design its just not a free lunch.

Leatherface and Trapper would very much enjoy this idea...

I am not in favor of being carried around the map indefinitely.

Mad Grid Backpacker build wants a word with you. Its fun for the whole family, they say.

Wiggles fine. It can stay. I'm no Killer's rucksack and besides, sometimes that wiggle gets an escape or two, especially if hooks haven't spawned nearbu and others have been used, or a good team helps block the Killer.
I cannot think of any half-decent reason not to have wiggle!

Then you better commence the wiggling.

Fun for the whole family you say? Hmm 🤔 alright I do like fun and being the occasional back up. Just wrap me up in a nice blankie at ormonds. It’s cold out there.

On it's own, no, even with Boil Over you're not going to escape, but in conjunction with sabos, bodyblocks and Breakout, that's when it can actually work.
Otherwise yeah it's just there to stop the killer carrying a survivor the entire game and ruining their fun.

Wrong, wiggling's not pointless, it limits the amount of time the killer can carry a survivor, preventing them from carrying a survivor around the map.
I'm sorry you've somehow never gotten off the killer's shoulder, but I have. And I've also had the wiggle function break. Look at how long the Hag got to carry me around without Iron Grasp or anything, it was almost 30 seconds of being on their shoulder:
No, I don't want wiggle taken away, and if you do then you're not really considering the consequences of your request.

Remove wiggle and every survivor will be hooked in the basement which is a strong area for the killer to defend.

You are not supposed to wiggle off on your own. If you could wiggle off that easy, wouldn't that be pretty unfair? I mean, the killer first had to find you, then injure you and get the down. That is a lot harder and takes a lot longer than wiggling off.
The wiggle mechanic comes into play when your team plays around it. Meaning, sabotaging hooks, using perks for you to wiggle off or taking hits. It also prevents the killer from carrying you around indefinitely. If it were to be disabled, you would see a rise in basement camping.

Bubba mains shall rejoice when that happens. Basement Bubba meta will return!

As far as I am concerned, he was never truly gone. He just went to buy some ingredients for his chili.

I wonder what he puts in his chili's seasoning.

You aren't meant to actually escape from the killer's grasp, the wiggle mechanic exists solely for the purpose of preventing the killer from always taking you to the basement or to a strategically powerful hook (such as that one hook in Dead Dawg Saloon that no longer exists).
It needs to stay.

It's a family recipe so we'll never know. 😕

Its the meat.
His brother got a real good eye for prime meat.

The secret's in the meat after all...

It doesn't require a minigame though. It makes you think you're gonna escape faster if you press the ever-shrinking skill check (which it used to), but in the end all it does is lightly push the killer to the side sometimes. Makes about as much sense as the old spamming space on death hook: if it's gonna do nothing in your favor then might as well make it automatic.
Default it to wiggle and give people a button prompt to stop wiggling in case the killer is giving them hatch or something. If the player has no agency and nothing they do matters while they're being carried there's no point putting any effort in struggling manually.

But don't killer players hate organized SWF with comms?
1 -
Just because they hate it, doesn't mean it's not part of the game. Take camping for example. Survivors hate it and it's still in the game.

It's a video game. It's not always about making sense, sometimes it's just about wanting to keep the player actively involved in what's happening so they feel they're participating. If the character is acting on its own rather than reacting to the player's input, the game feels less interactive. Plus, survivors get points for hitting those skill checks. I like getting those points.

I wouldn't say that "Press button to do nothing!" is a particularly involved and interactive mechanic.
