Wiggling breaks and stops responding properly
Wiggle issues have happened twice. The first time I was playing as Ada on Garden of Joy against a Hag. The second time was as Alan Wake on Ormond against a Wraith in Lights Out mode.
The first time, as Ada, after about 16 seconds the bar filled up but I did not escape from the killer's shoulder. They were able to carry me around for another 13 seconds (as I continued to hit skill checks) before they put me on a hook.
The second time, as Alan Wake, the skill checks completely disappeared. My teammates body blocked at the hook, I'm pretty sure I should've gotten off the killer's shoulder (there's no bar in Lights Out mode, so I don't actually know, but I was on the killer's shoulder for about 20 to 21 seconds). I was unable to wiggle and the killer was able to hook me.
