Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Please make it possible to see other players' ratings.

I think if everyone could see their own and others' grades, more concrete suggestions for improving this game would come up on this forum.

    What kind of ratings?

MMR? We can’t even see our own, seeing each others ratings would be very weird.

I meant it as a grade. I'll edit it

Yeah, even a 'bad' player will get to at LEAST Gold or even Iri if they play enough each month. Likewise a really skilled player may only be at Bronze or Silver if they don't play a huge amount.

I also don't think it's fair to just disregard someone's feedback just because they're new or low-skilled.

It wouldn't take long before players also ask for the option to hide this rating. Similar to prestige, sometimes it can invite toxicity from others.

Grades aren't really an indicative of skill, being able to see them wouldn't change much.

Player grades are not indicitive of anything other than time played - time played really doesn't equate with game sense either.

Player feedback and discussions are valuable whatever experience you have with the game, limiting it to those who are at a particular skill level is not practical - if we listen to those at high MMR only for example and make changes based on that, the game will end up worse for players in the mid bracket who may not have the same skill levels, and that's the bracket that has the majority of players.

Game sense is something totally different, you can understand the game at an expert level, know all the nuances - but you might not necessarily be the best player as knowledge and actioning that knowledge are two different things. I've seen players with 7k hours have little game sense, and then I've seen 200hrs players have a full understanding of the game. There's no hard or fast rule - that's why this is a forum open to everyone, regardless of skill, time played, grade or MMR.

I would at least like to know how good I am!

Because I think it will help us to know why we could not escape in the ritual, why we could not execute them.

It would be better to know where your skill level stands compared to other players!

It can be a motivation to enjoy this game more!

Survivors who cannot hook trade even though hook grabs have been removed are definitely below a certain level of skill. There is definitely a huge difference in the level of understanding of the game between such people and those who can execute hook trades.

Even if both parties gather in one place, either the advanced person will give preferential treatment to the beginner, or the discussion will not hold.

Even in the Lights Out event, experts say it is a very interesting event that tests the basic skills of DBD survivors, but for beginner survivors who are only interested in surviving by imitating the killer's obsession with tunnels. It seems like a boring event.

The go-getters know that playing time does not indicate skill, but they also understand that the existence of a 200-hour player who is better than a 7k-hour player is a rare counterexample.

Even if it is not an absolute indicator, it is very important to have something presented as a relative indicator.
