Game Freeze after Lights Out Trial

After a single game of Lights Out, the first game I have played on DbD today, the game froze on the loading screen and forced me to restart my computer to do anything else.
Perhaps it is because I tabbed out suddenly, though I do not know why this would cause an issue as I have done that many times before.
