Basement Hole
Place a hole outside the basement to be used to enter it thus avoiding the killer's body blocking the stairs. So the staircase being a little wider would help!

Correct me if I'm wrong but there shouldn't be any basements left that the killer could bodyblock. The last one (I think) was the main building of Groaning Storehouse and that one is fixed.
A whole would also have the side effect that killers could enter the basement easier.

Ah yes, because even The Killer's Basement should not be remotely strong or dangerous.

Why even bother bringing survivors there at that point?
It's already pointless, if you don't want to camp it.

Don't need to do that. SImple solution, don't run the killer toward the basement and don't do gens near the basement. Done!
We need to stop nerfing stuff because it's "hard" but has natural counters.

I'd actually love that, for certain maps.
Dead Dawg has a unique breakable wall in shack.
RPD has a much deeper basement than other maps.
Temple of Purgation and Springwood can have a basement in a basement.
There could be a unique map/realm where you can have this 'ceiling' entry to the basement, due it the basement entrance being otherwise very strong.

I think this is a fine idea, make an extra hole into basement an RNG chance. it could also have an effect on how we normally loop the shack, in good or bad ways. "Oh there is a hole there now..."
Do this bHVR, do it for the fun.

I felt this. Not only when killers body block but you also can't run out with your teammate which is ridiculous since stairs look wide enough for 2 ppl. They just need to widen the invisible walls they apparently have in that spot.

Two teammates can body block the killer for the injured survivor! Do you think this is a glitch?
If you think otherwise, there is no need to nerf the killer's non-complete body block

Ok, sounds fair. At the same time let the killer bypass survivors that bodyblocks doors and passages to save teammates.

EDIT: Before the flame starts, I'm ironic. Basement is not a safe place and I hope it will never be. And even if I find annoying how survivors bodyblocks the killer, I'm not REALLY suggesting this possibility.

Getting into the basement is not a problem? On the way out, the killer can block and delay exiting until basekit BT runs out.

Unironically I like this idea. Maybe it shouldn't be totally free, though, but there could be a boarded up hole at the long wall without a window and survivor's would need 20s or so to remove the boards and use that secondary entry into the basement. But of course, the stairs stay the only exit.
I like the idea that survivors are adapting, they have been trapped in this realm for years now, and died a thousand deaths. By now they have found ways to utilise the killers hiding place for their own survival (best looping spot in the game), devised ways to commune with The Entity that calls it home (Sables perks) thus making it a dangerous resource, and found secret ways in... but it will never be a friendly place, but a place where friends die if they don't act fast and decisively.

I know all the maps in the game fairly well and I seriously can't think of a single one that has this problem.
