Will the developers ever give a statement about map offerings?

Map offerings are a longtime hot topic in the community (you can just check the forum and will find many posts about it) because one side will always send the match to the map that fits for them - they are prepared to play on this map as they are most familiar with it and their perks will also fit for the map. As a result, the other side will always have a disadvantage just due to one offering. In addition, it always feels so bad to play on a map that the otherside wants. There are way more points that are already explained in other topics, but what really wonders me is that the developers never gave a statement about this topic like if it's on their watchlist or if they ever talked about it in the team. This feels very sad and it feels like they ignore this topic of the playerbase.

I'm curious as to why the developers never address this topic. They could even say that they don't care about it, don't see as an issue, or won't change it and this would be fine because it would be finally an answer to this topic - It's better than being silenced.
