Bake in wraith's silent bell addon

Reasons:

  1. Creates more diversity in top played killers and viability outside of addons.

  2. Promotes different playstyles of the other addons being quick movement speed for patrolling, quicker pallet breaks or gen breaks, etc.

  3. Gives the nurse, hillbilly, and clown a run for it's money.

  4. Actually lives up to the suprise of a wraith killer.

  5. Rework the ultra-rare addon that currently makes his bell silent so that he is no longer silent but when he uncloaks the first surprise hit is an instant down. This makes that ultra rare addon very powerful but has a short window ( the length of his built-in windstorm ).

makewraithgreatagain

disclaimer: Yes I know he currently is very good against noobs but honestly he is in the same spot outside of his silent bell build ( silent bell + no terror radius addon ) against high ranks.

i like the ultra rare rework you thought of, but still, you can see the distortion still anyways, so if they have a flashlight they just messed up your chance of a fast down, but with the add-ons for light burn this would be almost as broken as infantry iridescent

It's a shame, but I remember BHVR staff, on multiple occasions, saying they don't mean for every killer to be viable at high ranks (one said it just a few days ago about Doctor).

It's really a shame because you are absolutely right, against newer players, he does well, but against top tier survivors he just can't get the sacrifices.

No. The bell is his defining feature. There's no reason to ditch it just to try to make him more competitive. There are other ways to do it that don't involve butchering the character concept.

I think you are not understanding the op. He keeps the bell, his add on just gets a different effect.

I understood it just fine. A bell that makes no sound is not a bell.

As a Wraith main (Somewhat) I like this idea. But I still think that the bell is pretty iconic, so maybe make it so it can be heard in certain moments? Like maybe if we make it so that when he becomes invisible the chase isn't considered over and when uncloaking during the chase you can hear the bell. I would miss the sound of the bell :(

Agreed, even though not having the sound would make him better, removing it completely just ruins his character concept. Whenever I hear a bell ring irl I just think "wraith". We can buff him in other ways without ruining his iconic sound

So then I misunderstood you. My apologies.

If they baked in his Silent Bell they would have to buff other Killers in ways that would put them on par.

We are talking Iri Stone baked into Trapper, Franks to Legion, and such.

I mean, i know a lot of pig players have been calling for one of hers to be baseline too...
