Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Dead Mans Switch + Grim Embrace Should NOT Stack (Watch List)

After some further testing with this build and against it, I truly believe that it should not stack. Having 30 seconds of blockage on all gens being progressed is kind of too strong.

However I do think the screaming/interrupting of DMS should still be a thing. Cause at least there is counter play (Letting go, or running Calm Spirit)

With Grim Embrace + DMS there is no Counterplay.

The suggested change would be Generators can't be affected by more than one blocking perk at a time.

Or being blocked off a gen wont activate DMS.

Personally I don't find a problem with the combo the more I'm exposed to it. I usually use that time to either get the unhook, check chests for any toolboxes to recover any time lost again, or check around for possible hexes if I'm not hunted down next.

That said, I can't say if it is or isn't a balance issue yet. I still need to test more. I do think the best way to do so, however, is for GE to be the priority block over DMS and DMS only works for later gen releases.

They don't really stack. You can't have more than 30 seconds block.

That's not really true, as soon you see it for first time, you can just wait out Grim Embrace and then work on gen.

Well, they are not. Longest duration wins -> DMS.

Or being blocked off a gen wont activate DMS.

    Sure, that would work.

It won't solve that much, it will simply get replaced by Pop again. There is not many slowdown perks to use with new 3-gen system...

Survivors have more than they need at their disposal to deal with it. Besides, it shouldn't even be possible in the first place to complete gens as fast as they can be completed right now.
