Minor Visual Wraith Menu Bug

edited February 18 in Bug Reporting

Something I noticed when switching characters is that the "flaming transition fade" has assoisiated particle effects that are not properly aligned with the "Grim Tidings" set of weapons with the same model. Instead of embers floating up off the weapon as it fades away, the particles seem to be manifesting in the Wraith's Arm pit. Exact steps:

Step one: Equip any "Grim Tiding" melee weapon, "Bloodied Sickle Knife," Soot-Symbol Sickle Knife," and "Tarnished Sickle Knife," even "Sanguine Blade," all share this bug.

Step two: Switch to any other killer, or invoke any transition sequence, such as entering or exiting the main menu. Any sequence that causes the full body fade transition will experience this bug.

Here are some pictures to help visualize the issue.

Completely inconsential bug, and I'm sure it's been in the game for a very long time, and just no body's noticed. Especially since I've used this wepaon ever since it was added to the game, but it should be a simple fix to the weapon's model.

I'm planning on looking for more models that share this bug and will replay to this thread if I find anything.

A some what related issue is that on some Prestige killer weapons, the bloody viens do not fade away with the rest of the weapon. This includes:

Hillbilly, Nurse, Shape, Doctor, Cannibal, Nightmare, Pig, Clown, Deathslinger, and Blight.

I am unable to verify if this problem extends to:

Spirit, Plague, Demogorgon, Executioner, Twins, Trickster, Artist, Dredge, Mastermind, Knight, Skull Merchant, Singularity, and Good Guy.

On account of not having those prestige weapons, however:

Trapper, Wraith, Huntress, Hag, Legion, Ghostface, Oni, Nemesis, Cenobite, Onryo, and Xenomorph.

Are all confirmed to not have this problem.

Clown's "Cooking Knife." (Partially, particles do not extend over the entire weapon.

The Spirit seems to constantly cause this bug from my limited testing, I have few spirit cosmetics but I couldn't find a combination that DIDN'T cause this bug to happen, could be due tot he complicated nature of her weapon?

    Legion's "Boot Knife," "Survival Knife."

All owned Plague weapons cause this bug.

Ghostface's "Tactical Knife," "Silvery Steel Tactical Knife," and "Wet Tactical Knife."

Deathslinger's "Radical Badland Grit (4th Anniversary)," "Violent Death to Bayshore," "Rail's End," "Rails Razor," "Emerald Plight," "Chocolate Spike."

(Both bugs mentioned in this threat occurring at once)

Suspicious Vertical line inside the Cenobite's body, perhaps a dormant chain? (Most visible with the "Garment of Torment")

Those are all the problematic cosmetics I could find with the one I own, as I was unable to reproduce this bug in the cosmetic shop. I could have missed some, I was mainly looking at weapons as those seem the most frequent offenders but it's possible some other cosmetics are bugged partially like the Clown's Cooking Knife.
