A new denizen has appeared in the fog, a covetous, greedy creature that seeks the many rare and powerful artifacts of The Entity's realm, and is willing to offer the seller anything their heart desires in exchange for these trinkets.

New Offering (Purple): Luminous Pouch - A pouch of illuminating dust that increases the number of Artifacts that spawn in the trial by 2. (If possible this would not reduce the number of purple addons players see, and instead occasionally replace an offering node).

Every trial, 6 artifacts will spawn, well hidden throughout the realm. When a player finds and picks up an artifact, they are awarded Bloodpoints in no specific category depending on the rarity (1k Brown, 2k Yellow, 4k Green, 6k Purple, 8k Pink) Bloodpoints are awarded only the first time any player picks up an artifact. Players can only hold 1 Artifact at a time.

After finding an artifact, players can take it to the Blood Shrine in the Basement to empower it. In order to empower an artifact, the player must make a blood offering to the shrine, which will weaken them for 60 seconds. Players will suffer a 15% action speed penalty while weakened.

Empowered Artifacts grant the power of a random rank 1 perk the player does not have in their loadout while the player holds the item. The player will not know what perk the Artifact holds until they Empower it. This item will not take the place of a survivor held item (toolboxes/medkits, etc). If they drop it and pick it back up, the random perk will not change, but they can drop it and pick up and empower a different artifact for a different random rank 1 perk. If for example, a survivor picks up an empowered artifact and drops it, and then a killer picks it up, the killer will still get a random rank 1 killer perk, and vice verca. Artifacts are not affected by Franklin's Demise.

Players cannot stack artifact perks with their loadout perks, for example, a Survivor giving a DS artifact to a player who has DS. Doing so will cause both perks to be consumed upon use. Artifact perks with limited uses cannot be "refueled" in anyway. Players cannot use an artifact perk that currently exists in their loadout.

After the trial ends, any player holding an Artifact will be awarded Bone Tokens, depending on the rarity of the artifact (1 Brown, 2 Yellow, 3 Green, 4 Purple, 5 Pink). Artifacts are not lost upon death or Entity Hungers. Bone Tokens can be traded for an item/addon/offering of the player's choice, and will cost the same price as the sell price of artifacts (so if you want a pink addon, they cost 5 tokens). If the Artifact is Empowered, players receive an additional 1 Bone Token for Brown/Yellow, 2 for Green/Purple, and 3 for Pink.

Bone Tokens are an account currency, and can be obtained and spent however you want. For example, any tokens you earn while playing Survivor can be spent on your Killers, and vice verca.
