Fix Buckle Up/For the People Already
One of the most annoying things to happen to you, especially if it happens numerous times in a match. If multiple survivors are running the combo it becomes extremely difficult to prevent For the People from activating. No counter play once it actually happens, Buckle Up gives survivors way too much time to reach a pallet or window to start a loop again. Nerf Buckle up to 5 seconds or nerf For the People by adding a percent requirement before it can be used so it can't be used as soon as a survivor gets knocked (10% healing progress to activate or something like that). It has been 6 months since this perk combo was introduced and there hasn't been a single patch addressing it.

really sucks 2 since it quite actually makes blood pact worthless no? like buckle up is just a safer and easier to use bloodpact

They can fix it by making FTP not count as completing a healing action so Buckle Up won't activate. This way neither perk is affected when used on its own but they can't be used together anymore.

Blood pack was worthless before it and will remain worthless after the nerf.

stop complaining about this build everyday... it's 2 perk slots and the survivor is following the killer + survivor so he is not on a gen

It's totally worth it to sacrifice 2 perk slots for this combo since the benefit is immense, and if you play SWF the gens will be finished in no time anyway.
This combo is busted and the Killer can't do anything to prevent it from being executed correctly if the Survivors are playing with comms.
The SWFs abuse it , same like Off the Record is abused. Off the Record was meant to prevent tunneling, but Survivors use it for body blocking.
And still Survivors complain about not receiving good new perks when stuff like Off the Record, Buckle Up + FTP, Reassurrance, Adrenaline and their various other problematic perks are in the game.
It seems to me Survivors just want to have an easy time so their busted perks have to stay in the game unchanged.

How often do you encounter this perk?
I didn‘t see it for months! The perk is completely fine. One survivor has to follow you the whole time (no gens being done) and then has to get to the downed survivor before he gets hit, which isn‘t easy. Just bodyblock and hit him in time.

I don't play as often as I used to but what made make this post is the fact every time I come back to play for a bit I always run into this either in the first game or the third game at the latest. For reference about 2 weeks ago I played 2 games and ran into it twice in a row and got off, the day I played when I made this post I played 3 games and ran into the combo twice. As for your points defending the perk combo, the person above you explained why it's an issue better than I could.

Half the time I see FTP + Buckle Up it never comes into play.
It's kinda overrated.
