Insidious Rework

At the moment, I feel like Insidious is quite an underwhelming perk at times and doesn't feel useful enough to get any benefit from it. So, I have a few ideas in mind to make this perk feel better to use.

Rework:

At the start of the Trial, you gain 4 Tokens. Every Survivor you hook, spends a Token. Each Token spent, decreases your Terror Radius by 4 meters, for the rest of the Trial.

While standing still, you gain the Undetectable status effect. This effect lingers for 6/8/10 seconds after moving or acting again.

You see the Survivors' auras within 16 meters from you, while standing still.


Hopefully this rework will bring some value back into the perk and make it more fun to play with. So, you're not just standing in front of the wall the whole game, while Survivors are doing generators. This will make Insidious feel more dangerous to be around.

    I appreciate the rework idea. The numbers feel too OP tho.

    For the first effect; "decreases your Terror Radius by 4 meters, [for each new hooked survivor] for rest of the Trial", when combined with Monitor and Abuse would make the default 36m terror radius into 8m! Not to mention, it would also make 24m default terror radius killers become permanently undetectable outside chase (ie Spirit, Hag, Onryo, Xenomorph crawler and Shape Tier I+II)

    For the second effect: I can see 10 second lingering effect easily exploitable,.. plus some killer powers don't cancel insidious (trapper, shape, ghostface, spirit). Imagine a trapper becoming 10 seconds undetectable after setting traps with basekit haste.

    The last effect, I donnu how to feel about, but 16m seems too much.

    Insidious: the shadows beckon the killer and wrap around them like a friend, guiding them through little understood path to their pray.

    While standing still for 12/10/8s and being unobserved, the killer is teleported to an unobserved spot on the map 16m away from a random survivor. Working on a gen/performing a healing action/opening a chest increases thy likelihood that you are teleported to. After he teleport, the killer sees the survivors aura for 3s. The perk has a 120s cooldown and starts the trial with a 1min cooldown. The perk is disabled in EGC or when only one survivor is left in the trial.
