Stomp matches becoming the norm. Both sides.

Play solo survivor and you get murdered repeatedly. So you switch to killer and you get murdered on killer. Fast gens, good loopers, annoying maps.

Stomp matches are really annoying and I'd say more then half my games are stomps. Either I play killer and get rushed to absolute death or it puts me up against survivors who throw pallets on the wrong side and can't last in chase for more then 20 seconds and i get a 4k at 4 gens. More and more the games feel like they boil down to how quick the killer gets his first down. If the killer gets a quick down playing solo survivor is atrocious, you're fighting an uphill battle that you'll never come back from. But if the killer chases the wrong person they lose 2-3 gens quick and it's a Stomp for the survivors. The balanced close games don't happen very often for me on both sides. Sucks the fun out of the game big time.

This is the dev's desire to remove the game aspect from dbd and turn it into a party item.

Very true. I think matchmaking being an absolute mess contributes to this too, not just gameplay. But also the huge disparity in killer strength and map strength.
