Why can’t End Game Chat be Cross Platforms?
Have BHVR mentioned why they exclude the privilege of end game chat to only PC players?
I’m a console killer main on PlayStation and I’ve been had my messages off for half a year when I was on another game but since I got back I’ve had it turned back on because honestly sometimes I enjoy getting salty survivors’ messages after a game more than I enjoy the game itself.
I would say I get a hate mail once every 5 games if I had a survivor that’s also on PlayStation and really I feel like I’m missing out, I love hearing feedbacks of my opponents positive or not. It’s just interactive and fun.
I would love it if the devs introduced end game chat for cross platforms but I would like to know if they’ve announced why they couldn’t before. I know plenty of games players of any platforms could communicate through typing. Thank you for reading and good day :)

Each platform has seperate moderation rules. It also takes console players way longer to type a message on average.

Thats very true but I’m unfamiliar as to what does different moderation rules have to do with end game chat? That does not seem to be an issue for every other game I play? Is it impossible for them to implement end game chat along with having different moderation rules?
I also barely respond to the hate messages I get and when I do it usually takes a couple of days and I be overly nice to them to confuse them, but I just love getting the messages anyways because i appreciate players feedbacks and communication

Impossible? No. A massive pain? Probably.

It's probable that there are numerous hurdles related to terms of service and moderation rules. While it could be possible to implement a specific person chat ban system, it would likely require a complete overhaul of the chat system. This would involve significant effort, and the benefits of such a system remain small or even questionable.
bHVR plays a forever game with where to put their time and resources.
