TheMrHeadhache is a P100 Xenomorph main, i don't really like his playstyle (not using the network that much if not at all, and not going for fancy tail strikes, this may be the correct way, but it's not entertaining for me atleast), you can go watch it if you want some Alien action.

As for the tricks specifically with the tail:

    - You can do the drag just like Nemesis, and yours is even longer (0,333 vs 0,4s of drag) so you can preshot some corners, just be carefull because if your tail hit something, it will enter cooldown and cancel your drag unlike Nemesis who is far less punishing and less difficult to play.

    - You have verticality, that's where the main "creativity" come, you can hit a near 90° hit in the helicopter stairs in RCPD for exemple. If you are at the top of the stairs and shoot straight down, you can hit a survivor going for the door below. There is a lot of snipes you can make, but they are so precise, they do not happen a lot. You can make them happen but you will be punished for it, and thus, that's why nobody play this killer creativly, you are punished a lot for trying, and you have a very short range. As for it's pickrate, it's pretty correct, not at the top, but not at the bottom, i know it's the Alien but a lot of people actually care about that, gameplay rules by a wide margin, and this killer has a very unique and niche gamedesign that is punishing and a bit too much straightforward. For the tips:

    - You can fake the tail at a window only to come back and smack them trough it when they U turn (same for Nemesis).

    - You can hit trough small gap, like the cow tree in Coldwind, or some stones in Badham (you see their feets). You can hit from below in the zone where there are holes like in badham, Dead Dawg, Haddonfield etc. The verticality is really handy. Another exemple is the window in the little temple of Yamaoka, thoses windows are a small drop, so Nemesis or PH for exemple cannot hit a survivor that is falling, but Alien can, just be aware, the window itself actually block a lot of space, it does not work everywhere. For exemple, in RCPD, at the vault in the stairs leading to the garden, you can't hit from the window directly below you, the vault will block the tail, but you can place yourself a bit further in the stairs and shoot the surv from here, your tail will descend without colliding with anything.

    - Aim for slightly above their shoulders, you can hit them behind rocks without even seeing them, it's stupid but it works.

Xenomorph can do a lot, maybe you will find some insane angles and share them with us later. I haven't found all of them. We haven't even talked about the network which is for me, the main power and the most powerfull.

    Sincerely, a devoted Alien/PH/Nemesis player.

The main trick really is just the same type of drag tech as Nemesis- He used to be a lot better to play as back then, but when BHVR over-nerfed him in multiple ways and with how bad a lot of his addons are the two problems stacked up onto him which made the killer not really fun to play as anymore for a lot of players. That's not even a joke either because before his nerfs his pickrate was roughly 30-40% and as soon as the nerfs dropped his pickrate dropped down to roughly 10-15% after that day ended showing just how much people didn't like it.

Also with them removing his ability to see visual footsteps of survivors who are standing still while in the tunnels it makes him a bit of an accessibility problem for hard of hearing players since they physically have no way to know if they're under a survivor who's working on a gen or not without exiting the tunnels every single time they want to check because they physically can't hear the gen being worked on and they no longer have the ability to see the visual footsteps of the survivor if they're sitting on a gen.
