Unreal engine 5
Hey dev team i was wonder if it would be possible to make a switch to unreal engine 5 and use Lumen technology to enhance the overall atmosphere of the game . I know that these things are time consuming and resource heavy but is it a possibility for a future update

That would be really cool. Although they have improved the graphics significantly from what it used to be and now.
However, if they could take it to the next level, that would be so cool.

Ehhh, I don't know if I want to see a "Dead By Daylights 2: Re-buy all of your dlc" in the store.
But it'd be cool for the game to get upgraded and potentially easier to update. Idk.

I feel like it might be the only solution at this point since a total rewrite of the current code would take literal years to complete and would as of consequence neglect everything else entirely until development is finished, at least we'd get to keep the skins we have through cross progression if the iteration of it that bhvr asked about in the last survey gets implemented.

not really dbd 2 with Lumen you can simply disable it and revert back to the original if you don’t have the hardware or don’t like it and you don’t have to buy everything again lol Lumen is a lighting enhancement it shouldn’t affect your duff you bought at all✨
