I wrote this character way back in the day and made some edits for her, adding more depth to her lore. Hope everyone enjoys it!

OLIVIA BECK:

RACE: Hispanic

Origin: Canadian

Born to a teenage single mother, Bella Beck, Olivia Beck was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario. Her mother worked very hard to get where Olivia is now, finishing exams while 9 months pregnant with her. While Olivia’s father, Victor Valentino, was a freshman at college. Bella’s parents didn’t support her and almost kicked her out. When Bella gave birth, no one was there for her, no one cared; no one supported her. When she came home with Olivia, her parents realized how cruel they would’ve been to kick her out, so they helped her. Bella never told anyone who the father was, but her parents had an idea.

When Olivia was young, she would get bullied for the lack of friends she had and how she was 'nerd' looking, and how she always was liked by the teachers for always getting everything right or answering all the questions. On the other hand, her little sister Mara was popular and had many friends. Growing up, her mother had many boyfriends come and go, but her mother never let her see the ugliness, the abuse Bella had to face from the horrible men she would date.

As Mara was upset about her mother’s many boyfriends coming and going, Olivia didn't let it bother her, she only became stronger. Olivia was always excluded from people, she had a little group of friends, Marcus Stone and Jayna Jones. But Olivia always felt alone, like no one understood what she was going through. Her mother was patient, letting Olivia test out sports, arts, etc. And if she didn’t like it, it was ok because she would “find something that will let that spark come out”.

When Olivia turned 16, whilst filing through some Morse code she liked solving for fun. She finds out her mother’s high school ex, Jeffrey Johansen went missing. Her mother was distraught, it’s been 4 years at that point, and no one told her. It made her feel horrible for her mother, not knowing where someone had been for years. She tries to make her mom feel better by taking her out to watch a movie.

Olivia now 19, has started college at Algonquin College. When starting to live alone, she started taking an interest in horror movies, poltergeists, ghosts, etc. Her sister, Mara found out her best friend Nicki had disappeared. She then started becoming obsessed with these missing person casualties from the woods. First her mom’s ex, now Mara’s best friend? She needed to know these people were okay, she wanted the people around her to be happy. Olivia first found out about the Kite-Fighter siblings, Thalita and Renato Lyra's disappearance in Botafogo, Lapa. She keeps thinking about how these families must feel.

Olivia became sleep-deprived, looking at the famous singer Kate Denson who disappeared in the woods, and Claudette Morel, who was taken somewhere in Montreal, was missing for some time now. These cases of missing persons really took a toll on her, causing her to miss out on school. Once reading more about Mikaela Reid and Sable Ward’s missing person files, she started putting everything together.

Sleep deprivation turned into insomnia, as she concluded that these weren’t just some casualties in the woods. These were people taken for a reason, but by whom? She started looking into a poltergeist, as some looked like children, to big spidery-looking things. She then ended up on a site dedicated to the missing people she was looking into. Looking through the lists she catches a glimpse of someone familiar, someone very familiar, she clicks on the profile and sees that the profile is her, the description says, “... - --- .--. / -.. .. --. --. .. -. --. / -.-- --- ..- / -.- -. --- .-- / - --- --- / -- ..- -.-. ....”. It’s Morse code, she gets excited, goes through it, and finds out what it says. “STOP DIGGING YOU ALREADY KNOW TOO MUCH”. Very threatened but not tamed, she didn’t stop looking into the cases.

As her grades started to go down; her mother started to become worried about her as she never answered her calls nowadays. Her mother searches her apartment, but nothing. She asks her best friends, Marcus and Jayna; they don’t know where she is. Bella is worried at this point. Bella puts a search warrant out for Olivia, but when they find her at the library asleep on the couch, they worry that she’s not getting enough sleep.

Bella pleads with her to give up on the missing person cases, as it’s affecting her mental health. Olivia doesn’t care for anyone’s opinion anymore, she wants justice. Her mother watches as Olivia starts to lose it slowly. Olivia’s mind starts to play tricks on her, she sees things that no one else sees, and she sees people who “have no faces” staring at her. She hears of Nicolas Cage's disappearance, and it sprung her into more action, as his disappearance was unbeknownst to anyone around him.

One night, Olivia was at the library, alone. It was a quiet night; the librarian knew Olivia at this point to trust her to close properly. She finally gets a lock on something. “The Imperiatti”, “The Black Vale”? What are these things? A cult? As Olivia was nodding off to a live stream of an interview with missing talk show host, Jane Romero; she felt the ground shake suddenly. She gets up quickly, as she looks around, and sees everything going in slow motion, out of the ground, spidery arms come out and attack her. She runs towards the door, as it turns into mush, she avoids an attack from the arm, but it grabs her legs and swoops her up. She takes out a pocketknife from her pocket and stabs the arms, it drops her.

As she gets up, she runs through the mush, and ends up… at a campfire? There are people there, some she recognizes. Jane Romero, Claudette Morel, Nicolas Cage, and Jeffrey Johansen. She knew she was close to finding out the truth about whatever happened to these people, and whatever took them, took her to punish her. They all looked at her and sighed.

She felt excluded, as usual, but also, felt like she did something right. Olivia closed her eyes, as screams were heard in the distance.
