The Executioner Add-on Pass Concept

A lot of The Executioner's add-ons go unused, and its easy to see why. They all suck.

I decided to create my own add-on, replacing every useless add-on with a new effect and combining add-ons with repeat effects so every add-on is unique.

I tried my best to keep these add-ons balanced, especially since The Executioner is already a strong Killer. Let me know if something doesn't seem balanced and I may adjust it in the future!

Also, credit to @Atomicrow for the Crimson Ceremony Book add-on!

    not a fan of the crimson ceremony book + this addon has been reworked in the previous PTB and is now viable so it doesn’t need any reworks

    also some of these addons feel like nerfs while others are….busted?

    Ok so firstly you did well with the brown addon concepts so cheers to that!

    the yellow addons mostly feel slightly weak

    to start off

    Cinderella music box: strange choice for an addon rework and it still feels worthless to run (atleast that’s my take as someone who mains ph)

    forgotten videotape has 2 problems:

    1. it’s a yellow addon so it’s much easier to find it in the bloodweb
    2. it’s kinda busted

    leopard fabric is still bad and the main reason as a whole is that killer instinct addons are worthless and they should be removed entirely from the addons that give killer instinct and instead given a new functionality

    spearhead has so much instructions and it feels worthless at the same time and the main reason is that back on the unknown PTB the devs reworked crimson ceremony book to inflict hemorrhage and mangled upon an m2 hit

    wax doll’s rework is pretty neat but I think the current one is better ( and this is an indirect nerf to double range addons which are maximum 2.5 meters)

    Burning man painting is great but I think it should be 2.5 meters instead (cause that’s the double range as a whole)

    Current Mannequin foot is fine it just needs its duration buffed

    Tablet and valtiel addons are spot on! (Cheers to that)

    Crimson Cremony book got reworked and this version feels busted

    Lost memories is in a strange spot: it’s strong cause blindness is just worthless on pyramid head and it could compensate the fact that blindness doesn’t work on cages and at the same time it’s just an anti soloQ addon

    Rust colored egg is dangerous in the hands of any pyramid head who studies the cage spawn RNG and it’ll make tunneling even worse with his power

    Scarlet egg could be a lower rarity addon

    Iri seal needs a whole new functionality imo cause tormented or not this addon will never give you any value

    Obsidian goblet is great but I’m still against the whole “afflict torment with m2 attacks” ever since the 7.0.0 PTB

    Iri addons as a whole need a new functionality


    also Great to see more people doing pyramid head addon pass concepts I’ve done my own before and I’m also working on making them balanced and strong as well

    I don’t know much about the executioner, but I will tell you he definitely needs an add-on pass for sure, I support this thread :-)

    Cinderella Box, I wanted to make it something related to audio because, well, music box. My thoughts behind increasing Footstep audio was that maybe you could hear the Survivor better and go for a snipe through a wall.

    Videotape I'm not sure about. Maybe increase the rarity?

    Leopard Fabric I thought it would be good to keep at least one Killer Instinct add-on, maybe to pair with my version of Scarlet Egg to increase the Aura reveal from 3 seconds to 6 seconds, but I might change it because I don't want one add-on to rely on another to be good.

    Spearhead is like Scourge Hook: Gift of Pain. When they get rescued from a Cage, they gain Hemorrhage and Mangled. I didn't know about the PTB change for Ceremony Book, so if that makes it to Live, I'll be sure to change Spearhead.

    Wax Doll was changed because I didn't want any duplicate add-ons, so I condensed all the range add-ons and reworked this one. It increases how quickly he puts his blade into the ground. 1 seconds --> 0.75 seconds.

    Burning Man Painting was increased from 1.5 meters --> 2 meters. I didn't make it 2.5 meters because I thought having an extra add-on slot made it fair enough instead of having to stack two range add-ons. I'll consider increasing it.

    Mannequin Foot was buffed from 20 seconds --> 30 seconds, I just moved its current effect to Oppressor Tablet and reworked it.

    Crimson Ceremony I wasn't aware got reworked, so if that makes it to Live, I'll keep that version.

    Lost Memories I'll probably change because Solo-Q sucks.

    Rust Egg I felt would encourage going for the Rescuer because they will still be Tormented possibly instead of the Rescuee, but maybe not.

    Scarlet Egg maybe, I feel like the effect is pretty strong.

    Iridescent Seal I want to keep because the snapshots of info I feel are pretty helpful.

    Obsidian Goblet I feel like I should explain more. It's like Nemesis' whip. The first hit inflicts Torment, but doesn't injure. It only injures after the initial Torment. Does that still sound too powerful?

    Your idea for the Cinderella music box isn’t that bad at all! It reminds me of a guide I saw earlier about how to play pyramid head and the dude who made the guide mentioned something about running stridor on him for prediction/wall shots so this addon is still in a neat spot yet it’s pretty weak at the same time in the hands of a decent pyramid head

    weirdly enough I think Iri videotape could be an iridescent addon cause I’ve also done my own addon pass (which is a mess btw) and I made this addon iri (mostly as a nod to silent hill 2) but until now I don’t have any proper ideas to make this one a strong addon

    for leopard fabric: killer instinct addons have been worthless on this killer mostly because once you master zoning with this killer you pretty have killer instinct addons basekit and they do much better than the addons

    Spearhead could be much better if it was the secondary effect of gift of pain where the survivor gets a penalty for a short duration after being freed from the cage

    For wax doll there isn’t rlly much of a problem with having similar addons and range addons are mostly fine with stacking (unless they’re more than 4 meters that’s just overkill) and current wax doll is in a good spot mostly

    the only addons that need to be put into one addon are his recharge addons (which are a nightmare on this killer btw)

    And for burning man painting like I said earlier it’s mostly fine for range addons to stack or to have an increased length as long as it isn’t more than 4 meters


    the rest are somewhat fine

    The flaw with Rust egg is that

    1. cages don’t have endurance or any hook related perks (DS,DH,deli, OTR) which often leaves the survivor vulnerable if the killer is nearby
    2. pyramid head is the most punishing killer when it comes to unhooking in the killers face or in his case uncaging in his face cause no bt and if the person doing the uncage is injured then that’s pretty much a gg (I have a few clips that I’ll try to send here later for better explanation)

    Scarlet egg could stay as a purple addon if it had a lengthy duration but it could replace any certain green addons that need it

    Ngl as someone who played pyramid head on the end transmission PTB I actually kinda like what you’re going with on obsidian goblet cause you made that addon feel like a meme addon yet you made strong at the same time and it actually feels like an iri addon

    iri seal could be a lower rarity cause I would love if his iri addons worked like a basekit enhancer

    And hey keep doing more of those I actually like the ideas you have going around with his addons and I’d love to see more myself!

    I'm trying to experiment with base-kit changes now so I can try and create some add-on ideas from those changes and I was wondering if I could get some feedback on what I'm thinking so far.

    • Buff: Increased Charging/Canceling Rites of Judgement Movement speed to 4 m/s (was 3.68 m/s).
    • Buff: Increased Punishment of the Damned Attack range to 10 meters (was 8 meters).
    • Buff: Reduced Rites of Judgement recovery time to 15 seconds (was 20 seconds).
    • Nerf: Rites of Judgement can no longer be activated when the Power Gauge is only partially recharged.
    • Nerf: Survivors rescued from a Cage of Atonement now receive the Endurance and 10% Haste Status Effects for 10 seconds.
    • Nerf: Rescuing a Survivor from a Cage of Atonement no longer triggers a Loud Noise Notification.

    The Cage of Atonement changes are just basic features to help with camping and tunneling. I'm trying to make it so you can't just constantly spam his power by preventing it from being used when only partially recharged so that Survivors have more counterplay, but to make sure this doesn't make his power feel like garbage, I reduced his recovery time and increased his movement speed when charging and cancelling his power and increasing the range.

    the nerf to rites or judgment is pretty unhealthy as it harms his chase capabilities rather than his tunneling capabilities

    the nerf to the cage notification is healthy tho as it might make it harder for future PH mains to study the rng of the cage spawns (which is simple btw) and might disincentivize tunneling off cages

    for the endurance and haste cage part

    honestly this kinda ruins the point of using the cages BUT I think I found a better solution to this but I’ll show that idea later

    the buffs however are amazing for most of it!
