Is Ultimate Weapon from Shrine worth it?
I know this is a very good perk. I've experienced it many times with survivor that honestly I feel like it's a bit too OP. That's why I would like to get it LOL.
But I heard it's gonna get nerf soon, is it true though? I would hate to see it nerfed right after I bought it LOL. :(

It's a very good perk. I think it's a bit overpowered with the blindness effect in addition to the killer getting your location. Get it while it's still OP :)

Yeah.. I got screwed so hard when Killer brings this perk, as I'm all running Aura Perks LOL

I'd just get it anyway. I don't think it'll be dead after its nerf.

It's the most powerful tracking perk there is right now. You should always get perks you don't have off the shrine, especially if they were paid characters, just because they often redo perks so what was trash before maybe...less trash later.

If you have no interest in buying Xenomorph it could still be worth buying the perk from the shrine since it's locked behind a licensed character that's only obtainable with real money.

It's 100% worth picking up as it's the strongest information perk in the game rn.
It's impossible to know where it'll be after the nerf but it would take a lot to make it a bad perk so it's a relatively safe investment. At worst they'll take the blindness away and put it on a longer cool down. Even if the attached it to hooks it still wouldn't be bad it would just be okay but I do think it would be overlapping with BBQ too much at that point which makes me skeptical they do that.

My opinion is going to be the minority, and i really don't understand it.
I do not use this perk. Its a bad perk imo. The reality is:
- You have to open a locker, something that is a waste of time and you don't want to be doing anyway.
- Screams are inherently not a good indicator of where someone is. They give you a rough idea where, but they don't tell you exactly where.
- If survivors scream and then simply WALK away from the direction of the killer, assuming a 32 meter terror radius, they can walk 15.5 meters away, that's HALF a terror radius. Plenty of distance to get somewhere, or even hide.
- Blindness is useless against survivors who are good and not using a crutch WOO. (especially useless against SWF who use discord)
- The cooldown on it is much longer than you realize. It is not a 30 second cooldown it is a 1 minute cooldown. Because you use it, then it lasts 30 seconds, then AFTER that 30 seconds, the cooldown goes down. This means its 1 minute between uses. This means in an average game, if you use it literally on cooldown, you are gonna be able to use it, maybe 10 times tops in a game.
- Calm spirit is a hard counter that has no way to be dealt with.
Now, look at something like Lethal Pursuer, with any kind of aura perk, maybe BBQ for example.
- Lethal is going to allow you to start a chase within 10 seconds, no need to waste time looking for a locker and unreliable screams.
- BBQ gives you significantly more information by showing you EXACTLY where the survivor is and where you need to go next. And, if you don't see anything, then you know there is likely a survivor nearby you waiting for you to leave for the unhook, giving you an opportunity to fake leave, then come back for the hard tunnel to snowball the match out of control.
- There is no cooldown on BBQ, its about chases, so if you end chases quickly you can get a ton of value.
- Because aura reading is more exact, it tells you where all the survivors are. Whereas with screams its hard to know where everyone is at any given movement.
- Distortion is a soft counter, because it is somewhat limited. With something like nowhere to hide for example, you can easily burn through distortion stacks. And lethal makes them start the game with 1 charge effectively.

They're nerfing the perk later this year, your call, really. I prefer Nowhere to Hide myself.
