Original recipe MFT permanently improved my chase
This isn't a request to bring it back, because I think it's right that it got changed -- it's just an observation. The speed boost from original MFT made me last a lot longer at chase while I was using it but, to my surprise, I also stayed better at chase once MFT got nerfed. And I think it's because lasting longer in chase gave me more time to practice being in chase.
It might be worth considering whether there are other ways to give players a chance to practice chase -- like maybe game modes where the killer scores points for tagging you, but the chase doesn't end at that point. Doesn't have to be that exact idea, but something that lets players practice the core skills of the game without immediately getting taken out of the practice when they fail.

Absolutely agreed, I would love for BHVR to implement a permanent 1V1 mode so survivors and killers alike can practice chase mechanics. They could possibly implement something similar to DBDLeague's ruleset where the players start from a fixed position such as the two doors of the shack, people can only bring perks from a more limited list, and some charge-based killer powers like Nurse and Blight start the 1v1 fatigued so they have to wait a few seconds to use their power.

I would love to see 1v1 mode, but there is probably not a mode that would screw queue times more than this.

1v1 isn't a bad idea honestly, guarantee there's a ton of players who want to 1v1 all the time.
Only question is what would the goal for the survivor be and what would mesh well with mid-chase?

I mean, optimal version would be to simply have a chase as survivor against killer player and when you get downed sides switch and you play killer. Then whoever had longer chase wins.
That's why I think it would screw queue times a lot, because pure survivor mains wouldn't play it, so it would take mainly killer players.

for me, it made me worse at chases for 2 weeks because i was looping as if i was 3% faster so every time the killer would just hit me because distance calculation was off by 3%. I was over-greeding loops as a result of the perk.
