UNKNOWN
Notice every match features the Unknown right now? It's waaaaaaay too powerful and fast. I haven't faced any other killer since the Unknown came out. It's making this game WAY OFF BALANCE.

Everyone is trying them out rn.

The reason why the new killer is being played is unknown

Not really. His projectile is easy to mindgame and if you know what kinda shots they're trying for, you can avoid them ahead of time unless they decide to fake you out. And even then, that's situational at loops.

The fella came out like two days ago, of course everyone is playing him. Give it a week and you're going to start seeing only blights and nurses again, don't worry.

Every time a new killer comes out, the response from survivors is that they're tired of going up against the new killer. If you're playing DbD when a new killer is released, then you should expect to see that killer. If you don't like the new killer, take a break for a week (the new character's usage rate usually drops well before it's been a week).
That's really all there is to it. I already saw the Unknown a lot less today than I did the previous days, and he wasn't the majority of my matches before today, either.

I would hardly consider him OP lol
He is actually quite fun though and I like his map traverse. The blobs feel a bit wonky to begin with. My regular perk load out seems to fit his style well and I'm a slinger main so I'm picking up his power fairly fast.

From an average Survivor's perspective (in other words, not a very good one), I think maybe it takes a little too long stare him down to get rid of the weakened state. 10 seconds seems like an awfully long time when you're trying to look behind you and also not run into a wall. It's especially tricky if you prefer to use a controller because you can't quickly look behind you.
I also think he also has too many strengths to his kit (teleportation, a ranged attack that hinders, 115% speed, stealth with add-ons), but then you could also say that about the last 3 Killers that were added to the game.
With the PTB being a self selecting group of the more dedicated PC players (mostly using a mouse and keyboard), I'm starting to think this can't be the best way to get a full idea of how a new Killer will perform when released to the rest of the player base.

He's like high b tier definitely not overpowered by any means people that are good with him are pretty good and people who aren't its a cake walk. He's a new killer you probably just need to learn to play against him better. He's pretty weak in chase.

- Load up DBD
- Play days after new killer release
- Don't know how to play against him
- Go complain on the forum people are only playing a new killer because he's op
6 -
My current escape rate against them is currently 50%, hardly seems OP.
Also they're been out less than a week ofc you're seeing them a ton last killer that didn't really happen with was Singularity.

Bro the killer just came out, chill out and play the game, you'll eventually get used to its power and mechanics.
I agree that the Unknown may be strong or even op on close quarters maps, where there isn't really any space to dodge its bubbles, but in overall and for the most part, this killer is balanced.

Baby survivor detected!!!

FIrst time?

Not my first time, but I'm already sick of him.

If you are tired of encountering him, please entertain everyone by taking on the role of a killer other than him. If everyone does that, you too should be able to enjoy the game with someone other than him.
……what? Why not? Oh, I see, so it's only natural that others don't want to do what you don't want to do, right?

The biggest issue I have with him is the AOE his spray attack has and the fact it can hit you through walls with that AOE which feels very unfair.
Not a huge fan of the killer overall but it is early days I guess... but I haven't seen a Bubba for weeks now and I cant help long for some good old fashioned looping

Hey I try my best to push put all the legion games i can but somehow survivor dont like that either....
Jokes aside what do you expect in the first week after a new character gets released? I dont even want to talk about powr lvl cause a new killer will be played by loads of people aslong as the killer is not incredibly weak and then bhvr has messed up. Sure if the killer is very strong or fun the wave of players that play that killer will hold longer and like wesker showed he will even get to be the nwr normal but thats just the flow of games like dbd

Oh...goodie.

I think he's balanced. The only thing I would like to see fixed, is getting stuck in the animation when he teleports to his hallucination while a survivor is in the middle of dispelling. If you get stuck in that animation for longer than usual, along with the slight movement speed debuff and his power attaching to you.. its a free down because of animation lock.
