My computer crashes whenever i load up DBD.

I use steam, and i am on a pc.
I use steam all the time, Ive been able to play multiple games on it without an issue but for some reason whenever i load up DBD its always the same issue. I load steam, go to play DBD and wait - after a while my computer freezes for a few seconds and then a blank blue screen comes up saying Im updating my computer. My computer is a little old, But ive been able to load up multiple other games aswell with no issue, Its always with DBD. This occurs everytime I try to play it, Ive never been able to successfully load up the game.
I can get photos of the error after i try reload DBD again but right now i do not have any photos.
