Is there a way to identify an Unknown with Insidious
I just played against my first Unknown using Insidious and it's ridiculous how well that perk works with him. Is there a way to tell the difference between hallucinations and an Insidious Unknown? It's easy when the hallucinations are just plopped onto the floor. But when they're standing up, I don't know how to tell which is a hallucination and which is the Unknown.

Well there is a way to determine if its fake even from a distance. Ill make a comparison. Its just like the statues from sanctum of wraith(if u know.) If u didnt know, the statues will position and look at you when you turn your camera away then look back at it. The same applies with hallucination. If you look at one not facing you from a distance. Just turn your camera away then look back at it. If its facing you directly, its an hallucination. If not, its the killer playing it off with insidious.

I believe a copy/hallucination emits a white aura when you are close by, which is visible through objects as well. So if you can find any obstacle to put in between yourself and the clone, you should be able to tell real from fake. It might also show up through your own body.

That sounds like a good idea. Next time I know an Unknown is using Insidious, I'll try that.
