What does everyone think about the "Free Gift" in the store
This seems to be a new fomo tactic to spend money on auric cells. Have they said anything about these cosmetics coming into the store after a year or is it a one time deal? Dwight had a spin hat that didn't spin, Clown had a knife for Halloween, Blight had a weapon for Christmas, and now Knight has a head cosmetic

Is it just a head piece for Knight? Something I really dislike is single piece cosmetics for killers because they never really go well with anything else.

It's not really new, they've been doing it for at least a year now. They're pretty good at bringing stuff back at some stage so it's definitely possible they'll hit the stores.

The Knight helm seems to be an exception here. I paired it with his Wasteland Collection body and sword in this screenshot. I have also seen gamers run it with the Halloween body and prestige body.

Meh... whatever.
It doesn't work on me, the cosmetics are far too overpriced for me personally and I despise how they sell Cell Packs in odd amounts either just below or double what a decent cosmetic costs.
Just give me a dollar price that is reasonable and I may consider it but FOMO doesn't work on me but I will gladly take free stuff so I am fine with any I can get

I use Knight. His new helmet matches perfectly with what I got him wearing!

Eh, never considered buying skins for real money, I'll rather buy a DLC. I don't buy even regular skins as I don't have Iri shards to spare, so paid skins are a no-no for me.
But yeah, it sucks that some cosmetics are accesible through paying real money only.
The pretty Mikaela Blood Moon cosmetic and the Rift Nea are both good looking and real money only.

I find the ever ramping degrees of FOMO to be in incredibly poor taste. The game already costs a lot of money to get all the perks or killers. I miss when items would come out and stay out. While I appreciate that a lot of skins are becoming earnable, a lot of them are adopting limited fomo runs that still leaves a very bitter taste.

I agree, it's awful we have another type of limited time FOMO cosmetic. They might come to store eventually after several years, but I don't think bhvr has said anything about it.
I'm also still upset they introduced limited time event cosmetics. Like, even if they come back next christmas or halloween or whenever, it's stressful and I think preying on people. Also a lot of these outfits used to be available all year.

I don't have a problem with that, since it isn't locked behind a huge paywall. I do support the game from time to time so 5 bucks is okay to me.
The knight helmet looks nice, even though its a pay to lose skin. (its so tall you can see him from space)

I don't think we are entitled to any skins, at all. If they want to fomo it, it's whatever.
