You Can Mute Survivor Screams With The Windows Key

I always hear people complaining about how loud survivor screams are and that they need to be nerfed. Well, I recently figured out that if you turn on mute focus in the audio settings and then press the windows key, all in-game sounds will be muted. You don't even need to keep the dashboard open for the entirety of the scream, you can simply double click the windows key as soon as you're hooked. This should mute the entire scream as long as you time it right. This also works if you're playing killer although you risk missing out on some important information while doing this. Alternatively, you can also press the escape key and all sounds are slightly reduced.

I wish we didn't have to do this but it's better than nothing.
