Map idea
I'd like to see an indoor map of like an old rundown house or mansion or something. I want it to be dark, like oppressively dark. Dark enough that you can't see more than a few feet in front of you, the only light sources being candles, the occasional fireplace, and moonlight coming through the cracks of boarded up windows.
The twist with the map is whenever you complete a generator, the power is restored to that section of the house and the lights in that area turn on.
While it would be hard to find generators in the beginning, as they were completed, you'd always have an idea where the uncompleted ones are by the dark sections of the house.

Sounds unique! I wish they’d take some more chances and make some more unique maps like this.
I’d like if they also did a map (could be this one) where more of the map size is vertical rather than horizontal. This makes more player interaction and encourages less hold w. So a house for example that’s multiple stories up but a lesser amount of actual ground floor.

Agreed. There are really only two maps that do anything unique: The backwater swap and the Gideon Meat Factory. The Gideon Meat Factory has doors that open when you complete generators and the Backwater Swap blows a horn when you complete the one in the boat.
I really think they dropped the ball with the Silent Hill map. Like, it should've been a completely normal looking school to start, but when your trigger a certain event like compete three generators or something, the school transforms into a hell version. And in the hell version, holes could open up in the floors and walls, altering the map somewhat like the Gideon Meat Factory.
I just think a lot of opportunities are missed with the maps, which is sad because they've demonstrated they can do it.
