I realize how unlikely this is to happen given the nature and target audience of the IP I'm suggesting, but the Scooby Doo gang (Scooby doo not included) would make for the best survivors. They could even do what they did for Attack On Titan where it's just existing survivors cosplaying as different members from the gang.

In conclusion, I really want to shaggy, velma, Daphnie, and Freddy please.

    I think they actually tried to get that one, not sure though. Warner Bros didn't like the idea of Scooby Doo being associated with a mature IP or something like that.
