Twins completely uncontrollable until match end

I was playing Twins on Haddonfield.
I went to lunge at a window vault coming up from the back of a house, missed, turned to face the front door and dropped Victor. He was completely uncontrollable and I could no longer swap between him and Charlotte.
Perks were Discordance, Deadlock, Grim embrace, and No Way Out. I think Grim Embrace had just finished its final locking of gens and I was in chase against the Obsession.
I had the tiny fingernail and toy sword addons.
I didn't think about taking a screen shot until after all the gens were done.
