Do the kill stats take into account matches where people intentionally commit suicide on the hook?
We know that matches with disconnects will not be counted. But what about matches where the players give up straight away and don't seriously finish the match (hook suicide, trolling)?
I know this isn't a Dev Q&A subforum, but I don't know where else to ask my question.
@Peanits has made it clear several times that the statistics should be viewed with caution.
We encourage you to have fun discussing this info, but please try not to draw any conclusions from data alone! It’s important to dig deeper understand the context behind the numbers you see; even we don’t make decisions based on data on its own.
And he did it for good reason. Because to be honest, very few of us are able to interpret the data in the right context. I love data and numbers, but I wont draw any conclusions based on this data.
I would be happy if I got an answer :)

I don’t think those matches are ruled out. Self-unhooking is an intentional game mechanic (and with perks/offerings also encouraged) - it’s not reliably possible to determine if a first hook death was trolling/ending or just unlucky/inexperienced player

Thanks for your answer, mate. I agree with you there. Still, it would be nice to get an official answer on this. In any case, you made a good argument.
