Do you ever found someone cheating during your games?
I'm very curious about how frequent this thing is in Dbd , and also if reporting the cheater actually does something.
I've also seen people trying to sell "legit" cheats on Tiktok (and obviously reported that rubbish account) so in my opinion they should really consider to find a better anti-cheat system

Plenty of times.
Usually it's subtle cheaters but it is still possible to figure out by observing how players react to certain actions. Had few blatant cheaters too, those don't even bother hiding they cheat.
Can't say much about reports, but that's the least you can do so it's still better action than doing nothing.

The need to be validating more stuff server side. Most games don't let clients have so much control over what happens in the game like increasing movement speed or stacking over the limit of perks.

Sadly you sometimes can only notice it after the match finishs. Had a match where i assumed every survivor was running Blastmine with how often i was getting hit by it, but on the tally screen not a single one had it equipped.
