Why is no one talking about the bot nerf?

This is going to make games even hopeless when someone leaves. Was anyone even complaining that bots were op?

Survivor Bots

Reaction Time

  • In order to ease the learning of how to play Killers in Custom Matches, we have updated our Survivor Bots:
  • Base reaction times are now randomized and slower on average
  • Reaction time versus Powers now increases according to distance between Survivor Bot and Killer
  • Reaction time versus Powers now increases when Survivor Bot does not see the Killer

    If a dev could clarify it would be good, but they made no distinction between bots in custom matches and regular games.

    I want the old custom games bots as dc bots. They are so OP! They blind you in a mili second and have constant wall hacks. I hope we also get a killer AI (please don‘t program it to tunnel all the time), then I could finally stop playing soloq.

    To be honest, bots are often much more useful than DC people. If you leave them alone, they will complete their gen before you know it. They can see and avoid thrown objects with eagle eyes.

    And click flash light at high speed and bagging at the time. It is fully upward compatible with DC Player, including this aspect.

    I've seen a LOAD of bots outperform their player counterpart that DCed. Indeed. My only issue with them was how they had built in wall hacks to know where the killer was…made mindgaming impossible.

    Bots can see Ghost Face through walls and have perfect awareness of where the killer is even while Undetectable.

    Probably because most of us accept the game is over whenever a bot is involved anyway. Even the devs discount games where people DC, ie they don't count any kills or escapes in their rates for that match. Presumably because if they did then kill rates would be higher than they currently are, since they acknowledge losing a team mate is detrimental to the team's success. So those games, as far as I'm concerned, are null and void. Just good for getting bp.

    The bots literally have wallhacks. It's impossible to mindgame them in a loop as they know where you exactly are at all times, even through walls. Not only that, but the moment you get close to a gen they start running even before the TR is in place. Among other things.

    The only reason I think nobody was saying bots are OP is because sometimes they seem to lose their pathfinding and get stuck in a corner in some maps and things like that. But when I play killer I refuse to follow a bot to a loop, and when I play SoloQ I thank the Entity that I would get a good teammate for once.

    So yeah, any nerf to bots is welcome. At least make their bot superpowers random so not every one of them comes with cheats by default.
