Lightborn is so good right now…
I got tired of all these sweaty survivors bringing flashlights and flashbangs while using the perk Background Player that I finally decided to use Lightborn….
Its basically just free downs and kills lmfao. Those dorks never expect it and when they do figure out that im using it, they usually just give up lmfao.
Put that perk into a anti loop build like Brutal Strength, Batteries Not Included, and Fire Up and you’ll have yourself a monster……also, please nerf Background Player.

Two can play and Shadowborn is a much more fun combo, imho. You can literally see the confusion when the survivors get blinded themselves and you get a massive speed boost on top. Its just the sweetest form of payback.

The best part about Lightborn is that you can gaslight survivors into thinking their timing is off if you don't make it obvious that you have Lightborn equipped. This will make them waste even MORE time.
Every time someone tries to flash you at a pallet, just try to look away for a split second. This got me so many free downs while they try to beam my eyes to no avail.

I used this perk yesterday on Unknown for the first time in 3 years probably. Have used Lightborn 4-5 times all time it's a non existant perk for me. But three flashlights and they seemed to be a flashlight squad so I switched Surge for Lightborn last seconds in lobby. The fourth person had flashbang also lol. Every down there were two people trying to save they throw the game and got destroyed by one perk lol. Got one gen done and lost hard.
I don't know how that game would have ended had I not made the perk switch. And it's like they did not understand I had the perk they kept trying to blind me but I looked away so perhaps that fooled them a bit. I will use it everytime I see more than 2 flashlights in lobby now if you don't destroy the team you at least destroy their fun and gain fun for yourself.

Are you surprised? I mean killers want everything nerf even a perk like it that is hardly seen and if so is more of a killer perk than a survivor one, since these solo que potatoes wont even do gens too busy trying to background fail save. I know lithe and sb will also be part of please nerf.

I personally just try and play around them using flashlights, if they're just trying to save people for minutes on end and not doing gens they'll lose because you'll still get hooks, downs, health states and your regression perks can still be affected. That being said, its hilarious watching survivors be confused when you're running it lmao.

The first rule of Fight Club is: you do not talk about Fight Club.

Not surprised. Calls for nerfs to SB and Lithe are very likely on the horizon.

And so the Lightborn meta begins. 😂

gets even better if you also have brutal and that pallet gets deleted fast and they trip over there own feet in panic

My policy is usually 2+ flashlights to consider it, 3+ mandatory. Curious to know how common this is among killers.
Protect your eyes out there in the fog.

Hmm since background player is being ask to nerf, maybe we should ask lightborn to be nerfed and give it distortion treatment, give lightborn only 3 tokens and they can charge when killer is chasing survivor?

Funniest thing is when the lobby has 0 flashlights and the killer=still brought lightborn.

Gotta watch out for those RNG chest flashlights

Too bad there isn't a perk/hex that can deny pallet saves

If I see flashlights I just take franklins

blood favor

Forgot about blood favor, but you're basically committed to running other hex perks as well sadly

I have to use lightborn every game because the strobing blind animation gives me migraines so I don't want to be caught with flashbangs or flashlights from chests. I know other people who have similar accesibility reasons for always equipping the perk including various light sensitivity issues and epilepsy concerns.
