Back when DBD was p2p it didn't make sense to have the killer's ping since the killer would be hosting the match. However those times are long gone and nowadays everyone just connects to the same server.

I think it would be valuable and informative for both the killer as well as survivors to be able to see the killer's ping. (Obviously it should say 'The Killer' or something to not reveal who (as in both what player and what killer) the killer is immediately.)
