Some QoL changes/Tweaks for Xenomorph

Hey everyone,

When Xenomorph was announced as the next killer for dbd, I was really hyped and played a lot with her. I still play her a good amound of time but right now she/it feels sometimes really bad to play - not because Xenomorph is a weak killer but rather she feels sometimes so clunky and not smooth to play. So I want to give some suggestions what QoL changes/Tweaks Xenomorph needs to feel better to play as. I know some players wish a better indicater when she uses her Tail Attack but this is another issue and I'd like to focus on the how it feels to play as Xenomorph. I also won't mention the hitboxes because that is a issue of the game and not a problem with Xenomorph itself.

I would be particularly interested in other Xenomorph-players' opinions on the points.

  • When hitting a Turret with your Tail Attack, the game count this as a missed attack and as a result you will get this huge slowdown. Basically, you get punished for hitting with your Tail Attack. Hitting a Flame Turret should count as a successful attack.
  • Control Stations: Same as Onryo's TVs, the Control Stations can sometimes spawn really bad and far away from a generator - my "best" memory is when I played on RPD and the Control Station for the balcony generator (you know the one next to the library and many lockers) spawned on the firstfloor under this generator. not on the second floor next to it. One issue is due to chests spawn and bad gamecoding. Control Stations should always spawn as close as possible to a generator because it is her mobility tool. It feels so awful when your mobility tool does not give you the mobility - same issue with Onryo's TVs and similar to Dredge when no lockers nearby due to bad locker placement.
  • Levels, especially Hills: When you put a Turret on a hill, the game makes no difference between the hill and the ground. As a result, it will fire off at Xenomorph even though they are not on the same level. This feels so awful.

  • Add-On rework/buffs: Some of Xenomorph's Add-Ons are either useless or pretty bad and should get a rework or buff. There might be more Add-Ons that could get a buff or rework but in my opinion these are the worst Add-Ons for her because they are neither helpful for beginners nor good for gimmicks.
    1. Molted Skin is a useless green Add-on and should get a rework. You could make it basekit and it would make no difference.
    2. Multipurpose Hatchet and Kane's Helmet should be one Add-On
    3. Light Wand is pretty weak and useless. It should get either a buff or a rework
    4. Brett's Cap is also a rather weak Add-On and could get a buff.
