Blast Mine not working

I am on xbox. I am trying out Blast Mine, but for some reason, no matter how many times I press "install trap" it just won't. I tried switching my active ability button as well, and although I saved my changes, it's still showing that to install the trap I would use LB, not the new button I selected. regardless, it refuses to install the trap even when I push the button. I have tried standing beside the gen like some people said you have to do and no prompt shows up. weirdly enough though, while I was in a chase it popped up "install trap" please fix this 😭
