I just discovered this…
I’ve been playing dbd almost exclusively on my old gen console Xbox One for 3 years now. It was extremely obvious that the game was beginning to become laggier and the frame rates were dropping constantly, it was really annoying because being a killer main, I could not play mechanically demanding killers due to being on controller and having bad frames. I was just browsing through settings today and discovered something called fsr which I didn’t know about before (I’m not really a tech gaming guy sooo…). I switched it on because it said apparently it would stabilise frame rates and I was genuinely shocked at how much of a difference it made. I was reaching consistently close to 60 fps whereas before I was playing a bit below 45 fps. It also made my game brighter which is a very nice addition, and I didn’t really notice the graphic changes at all which I don’t mind. It is honestly game changing for me and I thought I would maybe share this so others can know about it.

Before I moved to Xbox X/S a few months back, I played on Xbox One and although my internet where I was in the UK was excellent, that FSR addition was brilliant in terms of performance. Definitely worth shouting about it.

Tried it on XSX, couldn't really tell a difference. And as the setting wasn't saved after quitting the game, i didn't touched it again.

It used to be where you had to manually change the setting every time you turned the game on. The latest update now saves the changes which is so nice. I play on ps4 and it even makes the textures look better.
