Increase in the amount of subtle cheaters

Last night I got a cheater and it has been happening a lot more lately in my games playing killer and I forgot to report them.

I have what tipped me off clipped but I don't think I'm allowed to post them here so I have 2 questions

1-Is there any way to see my previous matches and report the player, Sidenote they had their profile private i.e they had their name as Cheryl Mason and I couldn't check their profile?

2-Anyone else facing a similar issue recently?

I thought I was going against some subtle cheaters recently but I record all my games. So when looking back at the clips and re-testing that scenario (for example distance gain) in customs most of the time its just normal play. my suggestion, record every game, if you can find someone to test that exact situation in custom then judge if it is subtle cheats or not.

There was a cheater boom around the time Knight was introduced, it has been steady ever since.

Subtle cheating how? I see odd things but honestly can never tell. Just curious what to look for. Had a killer that found me twice. I was using distortion. I asked him how he found me and he said audio cues. Plausible however both times I was not moving and crouched also forgot to mention not injured. I reported just in case. Also there are times survivors are a bit faster than they should be (again just seems as much I could totally be wrong) I just feel on long straight aways I should be catching unless they are in a sprint burst. Just curious on what to look for

It's much easier to spot certain cheats like speedhacks normally as killer because you can see them almost all the time.

If I think I saw something I'd clip the last 3 minutes using my recording software and then check back on it normally subtle cheaters only speed up a little bit to make something they wouldn't without the speed.

The only thing ive ever spotted cheaters using and knew it was speedhacks but its happened a few times now.

I keep going against survivors that magically force a wiggle right before I reach a hook like 6 second wiggle

After playing the game for thousands of hours you can usually spot it pretty easily. Some examples i would see are.

    • Generators going just a little bit faster than they should based on the perks and loadouts you see in the endgame.
    • Survivors taking just a "little" bit too long to catch up to in the open.
    • Survivors being just a "little" bit further away than they should be when they break LoS and you spot them the next round of the loop
    • Survivors vaulting just a "little" bit faster than they should despite not having resilience.
    • Survivors magically knowing where you are all the time through a wall (this is especially obvious when you run aura perks and can see them through the wall)

I would say the most common thing is to increase their movement speed to around 103-104. 103-104 is JUST enough to make a big difference (remember MFT?) while being hard to notice. The other is giving themselves a big burst in speed when they break LoS for a split secon. All it takes is a quick half second of 150 speed when they round a corner and think you can't see them. The other stuff tends to be survivors "having" perks while not actually having those perks. As is the case for resilience. For example the other day, there was a survivor i chased who clearly had resilience, even while not injured, but they did not actually have the perk resilience.
