Budget kindred basekit?
Is there any reason why a budget kindred can’t be basekit? I think a basekit kindred but without seeing the killer’s aura would make Solo Q experience far better and have little to no impact on SWFs. its really hard sometimes in Solo Q, for example when you are doing a generator, someone is hooked, one is getting chased and the last one has nothing on the HUD. So you assume they’re gonna get the unhook and before you know it the hooked person is already 2nd stage. Or when 2 people go for the unhook when there’s no need to. Not even a full kindred but something like seeing your teammates auras for 15 seconds after someone is hooked would already help. We just need anything to know someone’s going for the unhook without an awkward situation where two people are going for it or nobody is.

I think mc lean mentioned it a while ago when scott made his fake patch notes. Basically they don't want to overwhelm players with that much info and something about having it as a choice you consciously bring and know will be active is why? It doesn't make much sense to actual players of the game.

Issue of soloQ is not lack of information, but solo survivors just don't work together…Like really? How do you want to work together when you lack information about your teammates.

They don't work together because they can't be efficient unhook wise you're gambling and maybe person across map is forced to get a risky unhook.

Until literally all the aura perks are basekit
Why not? playing survivors would feel super chilly and actual advantage would be honestly minuscule

Make it an option that can be disabled in the settings... Mcleans argument is not really viable... It is not like everybody needs to have everything enabled from the start... The game just needs a better tutorial and explanation for basekit perks and mechanics like aura reading and what not. And when players got comfortable with the mechanics they can still decide to enable it. And I don't really see how that would confuse people when they see auras while one person is on hook. People should realise fairly easy that it happens when someone is on hook after like 2 games.

Exactly is fairly obvious to everyone else, but for some reason they are a bit too focused on the idea that players don't like to play together... Like even if, the info would still be nice and enable better teamwork.

Everyone who is solo queue should just run this perk right now because the difference it make is huge. It’s not fair though that solo players have to use a slot on this while SWFs don’t.
Make it base kit (without the killer aura) and if it’s too much then just buff killers or nerf survivor in other ways after.

The necessity of always using kindred + exhaustion perk + WoO in solo q makes the game stale for survivors.

I play solo without kindred an WoO and do fine. its not hard.

You really don't have to run this stuff. Having precise info is a choice you make in exchange for other stuff.

I would make it work differently.
You see every survivor, who is not in your group.So three SWF will be able to see that one solo survivor.
I think that's fair.

It's not hand holding. It's just information that swf survivors already have.

I mean, I would like to see this as I feel like I have to run Kindred constantly as I only really solo and the perk is incredibly helpful for solo random teams.
That being said, I have died on first hook too many times so I think it doesn't matter how much info you give some people as nothing will help them
