Why do we have a lobby. Go straight into the game?

This was brought up on a different post and thought it would make for a good discussion.

Instead of having a lobby that you wait 60 seconds in why not once a match has been found you go straight into the game?
Here are some pros and cons for this

Pros

No more lobby dodging. Both killers and survivors won't be able to dodge lobbies anymore meaning games are started much quicker.

No more worrying about Prestige.
Not seeing the prestige before the game starts means no bias in the game. I've seen a lot how high prestige players get targeted in some games and equally low prestige get targeted as a "easy down" (not always the case)

No need to last minute switch to Flashlights or high prestige. With no chance to dodge you can que up with whatever you want.

Cons

No pre game discussion for survivors. With solo que there won't be any way to communicate something before the game. (This could also be a pro as you won't dodge if someone is doing dumb stuff)

No way to change your build once a game has been found. Although this simply is fixed by just preparing your build before queuing

No chance to run for a drink or pop to the loo during the lobby. This could also be a pro as it would force everyone do actually be ready when they hit Que and could reduce the amount of afk at the start of the game.

I'm curious to hear what others have to say on this as I personally think it would be healthy for the game as it would stop Lobby dodging and last minute switches.

Had the game released like this I think it would've been acceptable, but to remove the lobby system almost 8 years after release would be too much
